Kigtek are delighted to be presenting at the Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) on the topic of Process Engineering Digital Twin related to a new cask filling machine.

Kigtek are leading an Innovate UK funded project in collaboration with Siemens, the AFRC and Diageo to build a Virtual and Physical Cask Filling Rig.

The project will use advanced software to create a Digital Twin of the Rig allowing for design, prototyping, commissioning and refinement all before the physical machine is built. The cost and time benefits to industry are huge. For Diageo alone the project is could lead to more than £20m in savings.
